Ćevapčići is a national dish from Southeastern Europe. With our Easy To Mix Ćevapčići you can now easily prepare it in vegan form! Djuvec rice, which is prepared with ajvar and peppers, goes well with it.
Ingredients
- EasyTo Mix Cevapcici
- 250g long grain rice
- 1 onion
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1/2 red pepper
- 100g frozen peas
- 200g diced tomatoes
- Olive oil for frying
- 4 tbsp ajvar
- Spices: salt, pepper, paprika powder, (fresh) parsley
preparation
- Easy To Mix Cevapcici mix according to instructions and cool.
- Cook the rice according to instructions.
- Cut the garlic, onions and peppers into small pieces and fry them in oil
- Add the peas and fry briefly. Deglaze with the chopped tomatoes and then add the rice to the pan and fry. Season with ajvar and spices.
- Finally, taste and add some vegetable broth if necessary.
- Fry (or grill) the cevapcici and serve with the rice.
