Mmm, grandma's cabbage rolls are the best? Try out our cabbage roll recipe with vegan mince and see for yourself whether our vegan cabbage rolls are as good as grandma's. 😊
Ingredients
- Easy To Mix Hack
- White cabbage
- 1 onion
- 1 carrot
- 1 can chopped tomatoes
- Spices
- some vegetable broth
preparation
- Mix Easy To Mix Hack according to instructions and cool.
- Carefully remove the stalk from the white cabbage. Then place it in a pot of boiling salted water and let it cook for about 10 minutes. Remove the cabbage from the water, but do not throw it away yet. Remove the leaves from the cabbage and then blanch them again in water for 2 minutes. Cut out the end of each cabbage rib in a V shape from the cabbage leaves.
- Grind the carrot and onion in a food processor or chop them very finely. After 30 minutes, take the mince out of the fridge and fold in the carrot and onion. Form the mixture into small, oblong rolls.
- Place two sheets on top of each other, place a meatball on each and roll up into a roulade. If necessary, tie together with kitchen twine. Heat oil in a pan and fry the roulades in it. Add tomato paste and garlic and sauté. Deglaze with a little vegetable stock and the chopped tomatoes, bring to the boil and let simmer for about 40 minutes. Season well. Serve with rice, for example.
ENJOY!
