For 2 servings
4-5 tbsp organic oat drink powder (makes about 400 ml oat drink)
2 apples
Squeeze of lemon
2 tbsp maple syrup
2 tsp cinnamon powder
120 g oat flakes
1.5 tsp coconut oil
1 pinch of salt
For the nut crunch: 6 tablespoons mixed nuts, 1 tablespoon maple syrup
Mix organic oat drink with 400 ml of water
Wash apples, halve them, remove the core and chop them into small pieces
Mix apple pieces in a bowl with lemon juice, cinnamon (1 teaspoon) and maple syrup (1 tablespoon).
Heat coconut oil in a pan and fry the apple mixture until desired brown
Meanwhile, mix the oat flakes with the oat drink in a pot and bring to the boil briefly
Reduce heat, stir in salt and cinnamon (1 teaspoon) and simmer until desired consistency, stirring constantly, stir in maple syrup (½ tablespoon).
For the nut crunch: Roughly chop the nuts and roast them in a pan without fat, drizzle with maple syrup and let them caramelize briefly
Divide the porridge between the bowls and serve with the coconut-cinnamon apples, the nut crunch and maple syrup (½ tbsp).
