Ingredients
For about 2 servings || Enjoy in about 40 minutes
Baby calamari:
- 180ml Easy To Shake Organic Oat Drink
- 6 king oyster mushrooms
- 4 tsp nori flakes
- ½ tbsp vinegar
- 100-150g flour
- ½ tsp smoked paprika powder
- ½ tsp garlic, diced
- Salt pepper
- Oil for deep frying
- Lemon slices for garnish
- Parsley for garnish
- Also: circle cutter
preparation
- Wash the herb mushrooms and cut into slices about 0.5cm thick.
- Cut out calamari rings using the circle cutters.
- Bring a pot of water to the boil with the nori flakes and let the calamari rings simmer in it for about 10-15 minutes.
- Then remove the pot from the heat, let the calamari cool and roughly remove the nori flakes.
- Mix the oat drink according to the instructions and mix with the vinegar. Then marinate the baby calamari for a good 10 minutes.
- In the meantime, peel and finely chop the garlic, then mix with the flour and spices.
- Now coat the squid rings one after the other in flour and deep-fry them in a preheated pan with enough oil.
- Then serve on a plate with lemon and parsley.
- A garlic dip goes well with it.
