Pistachios belong to the stone fruit family and are also called the "laughing nut". They put you in a good mood and are also tasty, nutritious and versatile.

For the pistachio pesto
50g shelled pistachios (roasted and salted)
50ml olive oil
2 tbsp lemon
25g fresh basil
1 garlic clove (or 2 small ones)
Salt and pepper to taste
20ml water
Approx. 160g pasta (approx. 80g per person).

A few fresh cherry tomatoes
A few pistachios
First peel the pistachios and, depending on the strength of the hand blender, chop them up a little with a mortar or knife.
Then combine all the ingredients for the pistachio pesto and puree until they form a creamy mixture.
Meanwhile, cook the pasta until al dente.
Mix the GREENFORCE Bacon Bits with water according to the instructions on the packet and fry until crispy.
Serve the pasta with the pistachio pesto and top with bacon bits, fresh cherry tomatoes and pistachios.
