Recipe: Vegan Spaghetti Carbonara with Bacon Bits

There is debate about the origin of spaghetti carbonara: many claim that spaghetti carbonara belongs to Rome like the Pope belongs to the Vatican, others are convinced that the dish has its origins in Naples.

No matter where it comes from - we conjure up this traditional dish in a new and vegan way. Bring the scent of Italy home and enjoy the classic.

For the creamy sauce we use our vegan egg and the organic oat drink. The dish then gets the optimal bacon flavor from our vegan bacon bits. Fresh parsley is added on top and it's ready. Buon appetite!

We recommend that you do not use the bacon bits in soups and sauces, as they may then lose some of their bite. They work better as a topping and should only be added at the end of the dish.
