Preparation of the vegan burger:

1. Thoroughly mix 125 g of the ready-mix with 250 ml of very cold water and let it rest for about 3 minutes.

2. With damp hands, form the mixture into burger patties of the desired size.

3. Heat cooking oil in a non-stick pan and fry the vegan burgers on each side for about 3-4 minutes over low to medium heat.

Generally you can grill our burger really well, but we recommend using a grill pad on a conventional grill so that the burger doesn't stick to the grate. Of course, this is not possible with a contact grill. As the burger tends to stick due to the rapid searing at high temperatures, we would advise you to sear it in a pan over low heat first and then place it on the grill. You can achieve better firmness by using particularly cold water for mixing and leaving the mixture to soak in the freezer for a sufficient amount of time. This should prevent the burger from falling apart :)
It is important to use water that is cold enough, as methylcellulose only dissolves at very low temperatures. This ensures that our products retain their meat-like consistency and the necessary firmness.
Due to rising raw material costs and laboratory costs, we had to adjust the grammage from 150g to 125g. As a young company with its own laboratory, this adjustment was unfortunately necessary in order to be able to continue our intensive research for you. Thank you for your trust in GREENFORCE! 💛
