Mmm, grandma's cabbage rolls are the best? Try out our cabbage roll recipe with vegan mince and see for yourself whether our vegan cabbage rolls are as good as grandma's. 😊
40 minutes
2 servings
75 g Easy To Mix Hack or 1 pack of fresh organic mince (180g)
White cabbage
1 onion
1 carrot
2-3 large tomatoes
Salt pepper
250 ml Easy To Mix gravy
About 8 medium-sized potatoes
1 sprig of rosemary
1 sprig of thyme
Salt & paprika spice
3 tbsp olive oil
Prepare a baking tray lined with baking paper for the potatoes.
Wash and halve the potatoes. Marinate in a bowl with olive oil, salt, paprika powder, rosemary and thyme. Spread on the baking tray and place in the oven and bake until golden brown. Turn occasionally.
Carefully remove the stalk from the white cabbage. Place this in a pot of boiling salted water and let it cook for about 10 minutes.
Remove the cabbage from the water, but do not throw it away yet. Remove the leaves from the cabbage and blanch again in water for 2 minutes. Cut out the end of each cabbage rib in a V shape from the cabbage leaves.
Cut the carrot and onion very finely and fry them in a pan with a little vegetable cooking oil for 4-5 minutes, add the minced meat and finely chopped tomatoes and fry for another 4-5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
Place two sheets on top of each other, put some of the mince mixture on them and roll them up into a roulade. If necessary, tie together with kitchen twine.
Heat oil in a pan and fry the roulades in it.
Prepare the gravy according to the back of the package.
Serve the cabbage rolls with gravy and potatoes and enjoy! Here’s to the holidays!
