2 servings
For about 2 servings
½ pack of Easy To Mix Schnitzel
approx. 25 g coarse breading
1 tbsp margarine for frying
25 g ground hazelnuts
1 tsp cinnamon powder
½ lemon
450g potatoes
3 tbsp olive oil
French fries seasoning
Cranberries as desired
Also: star cookie cutters
Mix Easy To Mix Schnitzel according to instructions and cool
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees top/bottom heat
Mix the breading with cinnamon and ground hazelnuts
Wash the potatoes and cut into 0.5cm thick slices. Use the cookie cutter to cut out the star fries and mix with olive oil
Place the stars on a baking sheet lined with baking paper (they should not touch each other) and bake in the oven for about 10-20 minutes, depending on their size, turning once after about 15-10 minutes
As soon as the fries are golden brown, remove them from the oven and season with the fries seasoning
While the potatoes are in the oven, take the schnitzel mix out of the fridge, shape them into flat schnitzels, brush them with a little water and bread them with the crumb mixture. Fry in a coated pan with margarine
Serve the schnitzel with star fries, cranberries and lemon - enjoy your meal!
